Tour description

This route is a journey through the spiritual heritage, history and mountain landscapes of Armenia.

The first stop will be the Ovanavank monastery, an ancient spiritual complex of the IV-XIII centuries, located above the picturesque gorge of the Kasakh River. There is a special silence and a sense of the power of the place.

Next, you will visit the Sagmosavank Monastery, one of the most harmonious architectural ensembles of the XIII century, known for its panoramic views of the canyon. In the Middle Ages, the monastery was a major center of book culture and manuscript rewriting.

Next, you will visit the monument to the Armenian alphabet - a symbol of a unique letter created by Mesrop Mashtots in the 5th century. This is a place about the language, culture and identity of the Armenian people.

The end of the route will be the Myler ski resort, located among picturesque mountain landscapes. Here you can walk, relax, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and in the winter season - go skiing or snowboarding, enjoying the beautiful views.

This tour is suitable for those who want to calmly and deeply feel Armenia - its spirituality, history and nature.
