Tour description
This route is the perfect first acquaintance with Armenia.
The journey begins at the Charents Arch, a landmark with one of the best views of Mount Ararat. It is from here that the very panorama opens up, which is recognized at first glance.
Next, you will visit the Garni temple, the only preserved pagan temple of the 1st century in the Caucasus. Built in the Greco-Roman style, it amazes with its harmony and location above the picturesque gorge.
The next stop is the Symphony of Stones, a unique natural monument where basalt columns form fantastic forms created by nature itself.
Then you will find the Gegard Monastery, a spiritual complex of the IV-XIII centuries, partially carved into the rock and included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The silence, strength and depth of centuries are especially felt here.
At the end of the tour, you will take part in a real master class on baking Armenian lavash - you will see the traditional process and try fresh, hot bread straight from toner.
This tour is suitable for those who want to see the history, nature and living traditions of Armenia in one day.
