Tour description

This tour is a journey through the northeast of Armenia, where water, forests and ancient monasteries create a sense of harmony and peace.

Our day begins at Lake Sevan - one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world and a real symbol of Armenia. Sevan has long been considered a sacred body of water, a source of life and power. Its changing shades - from turquoise to deep blue - create a special mood from the first minutes of the journey.

Next, we go up to the Sevanavank monastery, founded in the 9th century. Once it was on an island and served as a secluded monastic shelter. Today, some of the most beautiful panoramas of Sevan open from here, and the atmosphere of the monastery itself is filled with silence and inner peace.

Continuing the route, we are heading to the Makaravank Monastery - a unique architectural complex of the X-XIII centuries, hidden among the green hills of the Tavush region. Makaravank is known for its refined stone carving and special energy of privacy. This place is rarely crowded and retains the feeling of a real medieval monastery.

We end the tour in Lastiver - one of the most picturesque corners of Armenia. Forest paths, rocks, small waterfalls and ancient caves create an atmosphere of adventure and wildlife. Here nature takes over time, and a walk leaves a feeling of freedom and reboot.

This tour is suitable for those who want to combine spiritual places, natural beauty and an active walk, having seen Armenia from its soft, green and calm side.
