Tour description

This tour is the perfect first acquaintance with Armenia, where in one day you will see the key symbols of the country: ancient temples, natural wonders and holy places.

Our journey begins at the Charents Arch - an observation deck with one of the most famous views of the biblical Mount Ararat. It was from here that the poet Yeghishe Charents drew inspiration, calling Ararat the heart of the Armenian land.

Next, we make a stop at the Azat reservoir, surrounded by picturesque rocks and mountains. This place combines natural beauty and engineering skills, creating an impressive contrast.

The next point of the route is the Garni Temple, the only surviving pagan temple in Armenia and the entire region. Built in the 1st century AD, it was dedicated to the sun god Mithras and still amazes with its harmony and accuracy of architecture.

Below in the gorge we are waiting for a natural monument "Symphony of Stones" - basalt columns formed by volcanic lava and resembling a giant organ. This is one of the most unusual natural phenomena in Armenia.

Continuing the route, we visit the Geghard Monastery, a unique spiritual complex partially carved into the rock and included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Geghard is connected with the early history of Christianity and has been a place of pilgrimage for centuries.

We end the tour at Lake Sevan - one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world. Going up to the Sevanavank Monastery, you will see the panoramas, which are considered one of the most beautiful in the country. Silence, wind and endless water create a feeling of complete peace and completion of the day.

This tour is suitable for those who want to see the most iconic places of Armenia in a short time, feel its history, nature and spiritual depth.
